Into the cattle pens firstly where it was a smaller yarding, with all categories represented, however the quality was mixed with a lot of plainer cattle and restocker cattle with a decent selection of cows this week.
Light vealer steers to restockers 250-300 cents for the lightweights and up to 372 cents for the better bred calves, with the heifer portion 210-242 cents for the lightweights and up to 260 cents for the fresher heavier weights around your 300kg live, with an isolated kill sale of up to 308 cents.

Yearling heifers under 400kg to feedlotters 250-300 cents for the majority with the crossbred drafts 230-250 cents, with heavier drafts over 400kg 250-300 cents, but they had to be forward and well bred to get in the high 200’s, with kill sales seeing most sales between 300-316 cents and they were in shorter supply.
Into export sales light boner cows 90-130 cents, boner cows 120-150 cents to kill or 130-156 cents to restockers. Fat Sheep & Lamb Report
Into the lamb pens now, where there was a smaller yarding on offer, with a decent quality yarding of lambs, however the market was extremely dull and flat, to say the least, seeing most categories $10-$15 cheaper and that’s being modest.

Into Merino sales, light restocker types $15-$30 up to 18kg $30-$48, up to 20kg dressed $60-$66, trade weights $60-$80, with export weights $100-$110 and they were of shorter supply.
Into the mutton pens now, where it was a mixed yarding and was $5-$10 cheaper for all categories.
Light boner ewes $10-$26, boner ewes $20-$68 with the majority around $45, medium weights up to 24kg dressed $60-$97 for Merino’s or $86-$110 for crossbreds, with export weights $88-$120 for Merino’s or $90-$110 for crossbreds.
Wethers were in shorter supply with lightweights $33-$68, medium weights $66-$88 and mainly all Merino’s, with export weights $88-$106 for Merino’s or up to $100 for crossbreds.
